I'm really excited to start painting from the photos I took in South America a few weeks ago. This first one here is from a cafe in Buenos Aires in the San Telmo neighborhood, which has this cool artsy-bohemian vibe. Needless to say I felt right at home. And so begins my Buenos Aires series. I'm also in the process of working on a watercolor right now of 2 tango dancers but it will take me awhile to finish. This pastel here took me about 7 hours total. I'm very please with the finished product. Hope you like it!
I absolutely love this painting! There's just something about it... So vibrant, yet relaxed. I feel like I'm there. Sometimes drinking a cup of coffee, sometimes drinking a glass of wine. You are so talented! {Love, Garz}
